IMG brings the works of Stefano Bombardieri in Capriano del Colle

PRESS RELEASE

From 21st April, seven monumental works will be on display in the factory, which for the occasion will open its doors to the public until 20th May. Two sculptures also visible from the street

Capriano del Colle (BS), 20th April 2023. From 21st April 2023 the exhibition of works by Stefano Bombardieri that IMG, Italy’s leading manufacturer of elastomer and thermoset injection moulding machines, is bringing to Capriano del Colle (BS), will be open to the public. After the placement of an initial sculpture at Palazzo Bocca, the headquarters of Capriano del Colle town hall, another seven are set up at the company’s headquarters in via Industriale 108. The initiative constitutes the first stage of the broader project “L’ARTE ImPRESSA: CHE BELLO LAVORARE!”, which IMG wishes to concretise its vision of corporate welfare with: art, in its many forms, becomes an instrument of wellbeing, a source of vital energy and personal growth.

The works stand out in all their majesty in the warehouse, on the walls of the warehouses, in normal working environments and among the tools, as if they were part of them. “I find the factory a natural habitat for my works,” said Stefano Bombardieri, who was at the inauguration in the company. “It is very effective to work on the unexpected, on short circuiting”.

“Sustainability is not only synonymous with ecological concern,” explains IMG CEO Barbara Ulcelli, “it also implies a deep sensitivity to social welfare, from employees to the community in which a company is embedded. Doing business today also means stimulating reflection on current issues, offering opportunities for growth, both professional and personal. A company must position itself as an incubator of talent and opportunities”.

IMG has long been addressing the question of how employees feel in the workplace: the second climate survey, administered to 60 employees at the beginning of the year, has just been completed and the data are currently being processed. A sensitivity that goes through numerous actions, from training to the inclusion of young staff even in middle management.

The idea of bringing art and beauty into the company has been around for some time at IMG, where several works by various artists are already on permanent display, placed in all environments, including production ones. The first stage of the project “L’ARTE ImPRESSA: CHE BELLO LAVORO!” will be followed by others. Among those already secured, in the summer, the travelling exhibition “Io ti ascolto” (I’m listening to you) promoted by OMB Saleri in collaboration with Casa delle Donne, the Municipality of Brescia and Confindustria Brescia, which brings to companies the red trunk containing paintings with poems from secondary schools in the Brescia province on the theme of violence against women, the result of a literary competition named after Monia Del Pero, killed at only 19 years of age in 1989 by her ex-boyfriend.  Two other events are also planned for the autumn.
