IMG took part in the K Messe 2025 in Düsseldorf, held from 8 to 15 October 2025
The event, one of the most important worldwide for the rubber and plastics industry, attracted more than 175,000 visitors.
A 400-ton vertical injection moulding press was showcased, featuring a LI.FO. (Last In, First Out) injection unit with 1,000 cc capacity.
Throughout the exhibition, solid silicone pot holders and trivets were produced, receiving great interest from visitors.
Two major innovations were presented during this edition:
- Automated systems integrated with the press
A fully automated robotic cell was exhibited, developed in partnership with a technology provider.
The system included an anthropomorphic robot for part removal and a conveyor belt for handling, emphasizing IMG’s role as a provider of complete and automated moulding solutions. - IMG PRIME
The new IMG PRIME software was officially introduced to the public.
Developed in-house, it allows real-time monitoring of production data, benchmark analysis of previous production cycles, and optimization of efficiency.
The system’s main advantage lies in its continuous monitoring of all machine components, enabling preventive and predictive maintenance and contributing to reduced downtime.
